Structure and technology

We operate from a strategic location, with optimum communications and with over 2,000 m2 of industrial work space, with state of the art machinery and 350 m2 of office space where we design and develop the projects we have been entrusted to carry out.

30 years of projects

Established in 1991, we began operating from a small industrial work space located in the heart of Bilbao. Since the beginning we began to be known for the quality of our products, which greatly helped us gain a foothold in the market.

At the end of this year we are moving to the town of Alonsotegi, to a larger industrial work space that is better equipped and specialised in the transformation of thermoplastic materials.

Our enthusiasm for continuous improvement, in the design as well as the technology that is applied and the service offered, grows at the same rate as we gain new customers.

All of this takes us back to the year 1999, where again, with the aim of improving the service provided to our customers, we moved to our current work space, which is located at a strategic location with optimum communications, over 2,000 m2 of industrial work space, state of the art machinery and 350 m2 of office space where we design and develop the projects we have been entrusted to carry out.

 
QUALITY CERTIFICATES

From its beginnings, TECOPLAS has been firmly committed with quality in terms of the product and the services offered as well as resource management.

For this reason, from the start and advised by the D.F.B. (Provincial Government of Bizkaia), we decided to implement the Management and Continuous Improvement Programme "PREMIÉ".

In June 1998 we became one of the first companies in our sector to obtain a Quality Assurance Certificate in accordance with standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2004.

In July of 1999, this same spirit prompted us to get the Certificate for implementing an Environmental Management System in accordance with standard UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2004, making us the first company in our sector to get this certificate. Our adaptation to standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008, and the integration of both Systems (Quality and Environmental), was carried out in July 2002 as required by the new European quality policies. Currently, both with version 2015.

To all of this we can add our clear commitment of culminating this process by implementing a Comprehensive Management Plan in accordance with the European EFQM model we are currently operating under.

Already in the year 2009, with the spirit of advancing in terms of excellence, we obtained the certification of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007, re-adapted in 2021 to the new Standard ISO 45001:2018
